My name is Brittany and I am a proud wife to Kody and mother to three precious little ones. I was first blessed with a little boy who is his daddy’s “mini me” and now I have my own version with a darling princess. I always dreamed of having two children. Saying this though, I was never opposed to a third. The good Lord must have saw fit because in September of 2021 our second little boy joined the Fox family.
I was born and raised in a small town of Kentucky, and it appears I am here to stay! As the child of a farmer, I used to joke about how I would NEVER marry a farmer but have since eaten my words. We live on a quiet 52-acre farm with our Australian Shepherd, Sadie and our front pasture is home to beef cattle.
We made the decision to become a homeschool family when our oldest was 3 and it has been the absolute best decision. The freedom and family time that homeschooling brings about is just so special. I learn a lot myself right alongside the kids and it’s been such a great experience.
In addition, I am also a youth group leader at our small community church. Although attendance is small in number the Lord says where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. I find more joy spending time with these kids than I thought possible.
When I am not teaching you can find me helping out other mamas as a breastfeeding counselor. The Lord provided me with this job back in 2017 during a time when I desperately needed it. I give Him all the glory because it couldn’t have been more God given than it was. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work from home all while helping other moms in the process.
These days I am often busier than I’d like to be but whenever I can I like to squeeze in room for hobbies. I have been drawn to art since I was a little girl. Although I appreciate many of the arts, my heart and soul are with photography. My Papa David bought my first camera at Rite Aid when I was in 5th grade and my passion for photography branched out from there. What started out as snapping photos of my “Littlest Pet Shop” pets blossomed into something much more. These days I tend to gravitate towards nature photography, but I am a big lifestyle fan in general. Whether this is taking photos of my kids doing everyday activities or other creative shoots, I’m in for it all.

Why Start A Blog?
My interest in writing first started at the age of twelve. I remember telling me 6th grade teacher that I would become an author someday. My hairdresser would ask each time I had an appointment, “Hey, how’s that book coming along?”
I became further interested when I entered middle school and chose “journalism” as my career for our mock resume and interview. However, as high school came and went my once pre-teen enthusiasm became nothing. The lack of career opportunities forced me to leave my childhood dreams in the dust. I was merely playing pretend as I entered nursing school to “make something of myself.” I am not sure where my twelve-year-old self went but I knew deep down I could find her again. So, here I am locked and loaded for a second chance.
