This cheese ball is a mix of only 4 ingredients. It’s perfect for the person who doesn’t cook or for the person who wants to bring a homemade dish but never has the time. It can be made in about 10 mins and its so easy kids can help too!
When I started dating my husband, I quickly discovered that his mom and dad were chef’s. Okay, not really, but it sure seemed that way to me. They were always cooking something but probably one of the dishes I remember the most is their cheese ball. Nearly every birthday party, wedding and baby shower, or get together had a cheese ball. It is such a crowd pleaser they decided to double the portion. You could very easily half this recipe though for a smaller gathering.
This year my mom and dad hosted a family Christmas party and we volunteered to make a cheese ball. We were running a bit late and whipped ours up last minute but they are even better after being refrigerated at least one hour. If you aren’t a procrastinator like us they can also be made up to 2 days in advance.
It is literally so simple to make this and you can’t mess it up. Using kitchen scissors to cut up the onions and dried beef makes it even quicker. After that, it’s all a matter of mixing everything together. Let the kids do the messy work for ya!
Let me know how it goes in the comments! If you have a “go to” holiday appetizer what is it? Have a safe and a Merry Christmas!
